Settlement Support Services

Supporting newly arrived migrants and refugees to build confidence, connections and a strong sense of belonging in their new community.

Starting life in a new country can feel overwhelming.

BRMC's Settlement Support Services help newly arrived individuals and families understand how local systems work and connect with appropriate services. Support may include intake, information, and referral for housing, education, health, employment, and community participation.

While BRMC does not provide ongoing case management, our staff work alongside people to identify needs, explain options, and facilitate connections with trusted local providers. Settlement support also includes opportunities to ask questions, meet others, and build confidence during the early stages of settlement.
